- Option to enable a PIN code (in the settings menu).
- Added support for remote controls.
The device also includes algorithms that allow
copying many other systems not listed.
A more detailed list of supported
automation models is provided in the app.
The device can operate in the following modes:
• Code Copying
• Code Selection
Code copying is possible for all systems listed, both with a floating
(dynamic, rolling) code and with a fixed (fixed) code.
Code selection is only possible for CAME TOP and NICE FLO systems operating at a frequency of
433.92 MHz.
Forcible copying of some dynamic codes not supported by the device is also possible, but the functionality of the code copied in this way is not guaranteed.
Copying is possible on four operating frequencies: 433.92, 434.4, 315, and 868 MHz. Simultaneous operation
on multiple frequencies is not supported; reception is limited to one selected frequency at a time.
The device is designed to work with automatic systems operating on
433.92, 434.4, 315, and 868 MHz, and can also record on
any frequency in the range: 300–900 MHz.
!! Information on the firmware update method is provided in
a separate instruction.
Each subsequent firmware version adds all the old
features, as well as new ones (or upgrades existing ones)!!
Brief description of firmware features.
- Ability to copy most common remote controls
(full list in the appendix)
- Operating range 300-900 MHz (any frequency).
- 50 memory locations
- Redesigned, more user-friendly menu.
** CONTROLS **
The controls are fairly standard - joystick up/down, joystick press, and the
"BACK" button (button 1, i.e., the upper right button).
Press the joystick ONLY in the middle position; do not try to turn
up and, without releasing it, press it.
Usually, joystick up/down navigates the menu or changes
(increases/decreases) the selected parameter. A short press confirms,
or selects the current item.
Some menus (for example, the "MEMORY" menu with a list of cells) use a long
press on the joystick. In the cell list, this opens the menu for the current cell.
In the input menu (for example, entering a cell name or frequency), a long press
erase/zeroes a letter.
** MENU DESCRIPTION **
"MEMORY"
Contains a list of saved codes. Select a cell with the joystick, and a short press
of the joystick transmits from the selected cell.
A long press of the joystick opens the edit menu for the current cell.
The four buttons (the top left and the entire bottom row) are additional transmit buttons.
Explanation of their purpose:
As a rule, barrier remote controls have several buttons. Control
is usually assigned to only one of them, but sometimes several are used. For example,
one button raises the barrier, the other lowers the barrier.
The four buttons correspond to pressing different buttons on the remote control.
And the joystick functions as the button used to store the remote control (i.e.,
effectively duplicates one of the four transmit buttons).
"COPY"
Actually, the main purpose of this firmware is the ability to copy remote controls.
The "COPY" menu includes frequency selection and modulation selection (currently,
only AM).
You can select a frequency from the list, or enter your own by selecting "OWN" in the frequency list and
then entering the value.
The value is entered with an accuracy of 10 kHz, for example: 320.35 MHz.
During reception, the indicator briefly flashes green.
After successful reception, the received signal menu appears. There you can set a name
under which the code will be saved, view signal information (its type, etc.), and
test the signal—that is, transmit its code to see if it works.
At the top of the screen is an indicator (bar) showing the radio signal strength. It doesn't provide any
important information, but it can be used as a guide when trying to
copy a remote control. If there is a response (i.e., the bar increases), but
the signal isn't detected, it means the frequency is likely selected correctly, but this type of
remote control is not supported by the device. If the bar doesn't respond to pressing the remote
next, either the remote isn't working or the frequency is selected incorrectly.
The indicator can be disabled in the settings menu.
Copying options:
AUTO - automatically saves received codes. Repeated codes
will not be accepted. Cells are named AUTOxx
ALL KL - saves unrecognized Keeloq codes (for which there is no
corresponding key). There's no guarantee that these codes will work after saving, but it's quite possible.
"SELECTION"
Code selection for CAME TOP and NICE FLO models.
Selecting is controlled using the buttons on the screen:
1. "Save" - here you can name the entry and save the exact or approximate code value.
The difference will be described below.
2. "-1" - step back (decrease the code)
3. "Play" - start selection
4. "Antenna" - transmit the current code position
5. "+1"
