1. Insert the key, turn on the ignition.
2. Connect the device to the diagnostic connector of the OBD-2. The green LED lights up.
3. After 5 seconds, the device will emit 3 short beeps and the green LED will light up.
4. Turn off and turn on the ignition twice. The key indicator on the instrument panel will blink 5 times and should go out.
5. Turn off the ignition.
*To record an additional key within 5 seconds, insert a new key and turn on the ignition after step 3, and complete steps 4 and 5.
